They were one of the underdogs of last season, despite a rough start to the season, they put up a brave showing and have learned much by competing against the best teams in Malaysia and Singapore. They made two changes to their squad, bringing in Unta and Rysha to bolster the team’s challenge for the MPL trophy. Unta’s return is certainly a welcome addition to a squad which lacked experience last season. He’s a reliable Assassin/Fighter player with the potential to turn a team fight around. But more importantly, he’ll add maturity and discipline to guide the team. Artha is one of the more consistent Tanks in MPL-MY/SG. He will be hoping that they make a bigger impact this season. They have shown flashes of brilliance but have yet to settle into their groove. With this year’s teams looking stronger than ever, the X-Assins will have to up their game if they want to make their presence felt.
