The MPL Playoffs began with 8 teams – 5 from Malaysia, 3 from Singapore battling for a total prize pool of over USD 60, 000 in 1 Utama. 4 teams advanced to the semi-finals, whereas 4 dropped to the lower bracket and are in danger of facing elimination tomorrow.

Day 1 featured 2-0 wins in all four matches played.

The playoffs began with a blast as Malaysian heavyweights AirAsia Saiyan defeated Louvre SG in a convincing manner.

In the next match between MyA and Mystic Burden, MyA went all out and finally ended their losing streak against the boys in yellow.

In the third match of the day, IDNS SG pulled out a 3-mage line-up to send MyA3 down to the lower bracket.

Finally, Tyrants – the band of brother who love to experiment with drafts put up one of the best performances of the day in defeating Team Eksdi.

Day 2 of the MPL Playoffs see 2 derbies – one Malaysian, and one Singaporean – in the upper bracket as Team Saiyan take on MyA, and IDNS SG take on Tyrants. Whereas Louvre SG, Mystic Burden, Mysterious Assassin 3 and Team Eksdi battle for their tournament lives.
